Greg Lauer is a Civil Rights Attorney serving South Florida. As a seasoned trial attorney, Mr. Lauer has a reputation for competent, aggressive, and personalized representation of clients. He is a Life Member of both the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum. Only attorneys who have obtained a verdict or settlement over one million dollars can join the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, and only attorneys who have obtained a verdict or settlement over two million dollars can be a member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum. Mr. Lauer has done both many times and is a member of both. Mr. Lauer has had multiple large verdicts in Federal Civil Rights cases & successfully resolved many others outside of the courtroom.

Greg focuses exclusively on cases where inmates died because they did not get adequate medical care in government run correctional settings.

In addition to his trying numerous State and Federal civil cases, Greg, a former State Felony Prosecutor, has tried over 80 jury trials and handled thousands of criminal cases ranging from misdemeanors to first-degree felonies. Mr. Lauer has trial experience with D.N.A., blood-spatter, accident reconstruction, ballistics, toxicology, and examination of expert witnesses.

Greg Lauer graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and was a member of the University of Texas Longhorn Football Team. Mr. Lauer obtained his law degree from the Baylor University School of Law in Texas. He is admitted to practice in the State of Florida, U.S. District Court for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit and the United States Supreme Court.  Greg holds a Certificate of Qualification which was issued to him by the National Committee of Accreditation for the Federation of Law Societies of Canada.
